Description: Aganang Local Municipality is situated 45km west of Polokwane. It is comprised of 105 villages and divided into 19 wards. Aganang Municipality is a rural area, and has four traditional authorities, namely Moletsi, Matlala, Maraba and Mashashane.
 It is the fourth most densely populated municipality within the Capricorn District. In terms of the Spatial Development Framework, the municipality has potential growth opportunities in agriculture and tourism.
