    Area: 2 384km²
    Description: The Thembisile Hani Local Municipality is a Category B municipality situated within the Nkangala District in the Mpumalanga Province. The municipality is bordered by Dr JS Moroka in the north, Elias Motsoaledi in the north-east, Steve Tshwete in the east, Emalahleni in the south, and City of Tshwane Metro in the west.
     It is one of the six municipalities that make up the district, accounting for 14% of its geographical area.
